Hello. I'm Mrs. Landis.I graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a composite Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education and Applied Mathematics. Translation: I LOVE MATH! Math has expanded my ability to think logically and abstractly, which has benefited me in every facet of my professional and personal life. And if you were to take a look at my resume, you would notice that my professional experiences have rarely required factoring polynomials (outside of teaching math, of course).
Through experience, I've discovered my passion for teaching and developing others. When I teach, I find myself learning just as much, if not more than my students! Teaching stretches me to become a better intellectual, communicator, example, and leader every day. I find joy in helping others reach their potential, and I am determined to make that my life's work. I currently teach high school mathematics at Columbus Preparatory Academy in Columbus, Ohio. If you ever have questions for me, please e-mail me at [email protected]. |
